If you created the files (or someone created the files) stored there that you are attempting to get in Office 2007 - then JustCloud (<-linked) is just some sort of service where you can (and obviosuly did) store files. If you ask me - you have mis-interpretted something along the way. Just how did Windows 8 inform you of this? That does *not* sound like any Microsoft Windows message I have heard of - since Windows and Office are separate products and not put together from Microsoft (excluding Microsoft Windows 8 RT / Office 2013 RT because Is anybody having similar problems? If so, what is being done? I don't want to buy new software when I don't need it.

If you happened to say, install Windows 11 on your computer using a Windows 11 ISO, Microsoft will not block the installation, and the operating system will function on your computer.In trying to download files from JustCloud after my previous system fried, I was informed by Windows 8 that I could only download my files if I had Office 2010 (nevermind that I saved the files in Office 2007 and have 2007 loaded Now, in a Microsoft Insider Preview blog, Microsoft has confirmed the only time Windows 10 users will meet the Windows 11 hardware restriction is if they attempt to upgrade using Windows Update. The hardware requirements were, safe to say, not well received.
Microsoft launched Windows 11 with a strict hardware specification, including some of Intel and AMD's latest processors and the requirement for TPM 2.0 (or a minimum requirement of TPM 1.2). The news that Microsoft will not actively block Windows 11 installations on older hardware is a significant departure from the messaging around the Windows 11 launch in June 2021. Now, Microsoft has confirmed that it won't block people from installing Windows 11 on machines that do not meet the minimum hardware requirements, opening Windows 11 up to almost anyone. Previously, Microsoft's specifications and hardware requirements for the new operating system looked set to exclude hundreds of millions of users, forcing them to keep using Windows 10 or upgrade in line with the requirements. Microsoft has announced that PCs running on older hardware will be able to install Windows 11.
